Belong

Welcome to Calvary! We become bigger through our weekend celebration services but smaller through our HOME Groups (Homes Open For Ministry and Encouragement). We look forward to getting to know you and your family as we follow God’s purposes for developing relationships. We’ll strive to make the most of every opportunity to help you choose Christ and belong to the Calvary church family. Calvary is ‘a place to belong and be cared for.”Belonging is your roadmap to discovering a life of purpose through community at Calvary. You can take the next step by becoming part of the church family.  You were designed to be a part of a church family. And that’s exactly what Calvary is intended to be - your family. A healthy family has common beliefs, purposes and commitment. That’s why at Calvary we want to share with you what we believe and where we’re going.God wants all of us to grow in fellowship, discipleship, ministry, evangelism and worship. It’s by balancing those five purposes that we truly live out God’s plan for our life. More than anything else, the Calvary family wants to come beside you and watch you grow in all five of these areas.CLASS 101 is our basic introduction to our church family and is designed to clearly explain who and what our church is. The CLASS is broken into four sessions covering: Our Salvation, Our Statements, Our Strategy and Our Structure. At the end of the CLASS there will be an opportunity for you to decide whether to complete the process by filling in your information on the Membership Application or to wait and decide at another time. No pressure whatsoever, we want you to be comfortable with whichever you choose. If you decide that Calvary is not where God is leading you, we’ll be happy to help you find another church. If you decide that Calvary is for you there are four simple steps to membership:

1. Attend class 101 and fill out the membership application and leave it with the Pastor or a Deacon

2. Baptism by immersion if you have not already been baptized

3. A short meeting with a deacon and another delegate

4. Recogniton at a church service

Welcome to the Team!
